After more than a decade of working with children with special needs in classroom clinic and community settings, Lori is excited to support Fearfully and Wonderfully Made, Inc. in creating opportunities to help people realize their specific abilities and strengths.
As a Pediatric Occupational Therapist, Lori loves collaborating with families to find out what activities are most important to them and then coming up with creative ways to build skills, modify activities, and make those goals realities.
Her favorite part of being involved with Fearfully and Wonderfully Made is hearing from parents of children with special needs that their kids had a great time and were proud of themselves after a week of practice and play amongst typically developing peers at sports camp.
After working as a licensed occupational therapist with special needs children in both the school and clinical settings for nearly a decade, Lesley felt God tugging her heart strings to pursue a new calling as the children’s director at her church.
The greatest gift received since answering that call has been seeing how God seamlessly blends her skill-set as an OT with her passion to help children thrive in all environments. Lesley loves collaborating with families in order to empower children with special needs and help them to feel successful.
She is excited to be part of Fearfully and Wonderfully Made, Inc because she believes that integrating children with special needs with typical peers and modifying activities in order for them to be successful is one of the greatest gifts you can give a child and their family.
Fearfully & Wonderfully Made, Inc. is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization organized in San Diego, CA and Castle Rock, CO serving the special needs community through organizing sports camps and other activities.
